Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music singer and songwriter from America. The album Satisfied was released in 2007. The singer-songwriter formed the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert as well as Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) is her follow-up. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she released The Blade. This album brought her fame and accolades. Ashley Monroe works as the assistant village manager for Riverside Illinois. With over 15 years of working experience, she's worked in various public positions including five years spent as Iowa City's city manager position as Deputy. In her position as the Assistant Village Director she oversees the Community Development and Building Department. The department is responsible for coordinating the grant application process and also completing specific projects. Ashley is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village while also implementing the vision and strategy for elected officers. Ashley's previous roles include the budgeting and planning of government communications, staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Through her involvement in national organizations and work in communities with diverse populations, Ashley has gained an understanding of the complexities differences and similarities with the way public institutions function. Ashley's course is focused on management, leadership and public administration as seen from the perspective as a professional.
